While browsing through my most recent photos that I have categorized under Mellow Yellow, this one caught my eye. I said (to myself) hey, that looks like an Easter bunny. When I brought it up enlarged, I saw the bonus bug on one "ear". Those were two of the reasons I liked this picture, but mostly I like it because it's not a perfect subject - the poor sunflower is in its "golden years" so to speak, and yet still able to give pleasure. These little sunflowers are the kind that grow in giant golden batches along the sides of the roads here in SW Florida. They used to grow in my yard, but one of the dogs ate most of them - I guess they also make good doggie salad. They are, I believe, native to Florida. This particular one was growing with its buddies in Blalock Park, here in Venice.
Please click on the Mellow Yellow Monday button to the right to join in on the fun. Have a golden day, even if it's not perfect. Peace. B : )
I would be honored if you would visit my new on-line store and see some of the cards I have been making. Feel free to purchase some if you would like : ) LOTS OF NEW STUFF POSTED.

Hey B....
Making guitars is not easy! I am impressed that your husband makes them. As for my PT Cruiser, it was going to need some major work and I did not want to put any more money into it. It must have been temporary insanity, as I loved that car.
Yes, I love those photos with the reflections in the windows. I'm going to do some postcards for that shop.
Hope all is well down there! Thanks for visiting.
