ABC Wednesday, Watery Wednesday, NaBloPoMo/Green

Oh my - Wednesday already!!  And this week we are celebrating the letter "C".  Although that can mean many things that are dear to me (critters, children, colors, cows, cats, cars, castration [sorry, but it's SO important in the animal world], cooking, clams, courtesy, customer service), the dearest is our CiCi, whom we always call Ci.


Ci has been with us for a year now - she came to stay on July 4th - a true day of celebration.  She didn't think so because she's afraid of fireworks : )  Common words cannot describe Ci.  There is just something so special about her.  She's the smallest of our herd, so needs to be heard, so barks crazily.  And growls too. And protects her Mommy.


Although, as you have probably guessed, I have hundreds of shots of Ci, this slightly out of focus one just tears me up!  She's my cute crazy critter, CiCi:

On to Watery Wednesday, and this time I've gone in a whole new direction:

My DH in the uber-wonderful outdoor shower he built for us showing off the true badge of a hard working man - white feet : )  This is a double water shot, since it was also raining.


And now for the NaBloPoMo "Green" post of the day.  These are some of our grapes, surrounded in the different greens of the leaves, and leaving the green stage, becoming ripe and ready to be devoured.  Which reminds me, I'd better pick them before someone else does.  Like Joy for instance; she does love a good snack!

Aren't you just green with envy?  Better wait and see how they taste.

Color Carnival

Wow, last week's offerings were magnificent weren't they?  Made me drool : )  Should you wish to drool also, click on the little Color Carnival button over there to the right and go see.  Here's my entry for this week:

This lovely orchid would have been in with those 56 pix I took the other day when I was seeing what was blooming in the yards, but -the DH picked it a couple of days before that.  It's in a funny little vase that I just love, even though I'm not normally in to pastels.  Behind the orchid is a dried bougainvilla and some vintage bottles on a colorful tray.  And to the left is Big Red, but you can't see her too well.  I'll feature her some day.  Have a wonderful day and keep your eye out for colorful photo ops.  Peace.  B : )

Notice how my little girl strategically manages to hide some of my fat - good girl Ci!!

I'm thinking about hiring the DH out as a pool boy - he does such good work,  but he's busy doing his remodeling, and making our yards beautiful, and drawing pictures, and helping others, and making guitars, so I guess that wouldn't work : )
