Another shot of the Venetian Waterway Park.  This time you get not only water, but a bird AND the moon!  See, someone CAN give you the moon : )

ABC Wednesday - D is for Dirty-faced Dog

Yeah, I was going to surprise you and not do a dog for D, but I just couldn't help myself.  Jeffie will be embarrassed when he hears I did this.  He likes to clean out food containers and since he's the only one of the three who doesn't hide them under the bed, or in a not easily accessible house, he gets them.  This came from his yogurt - the big tall container, what is it, a pint or something?
If you would like to celebrate the letter D, please click on the ABC Wednesday button to the right.  Thanks and make someone happy today.  Peace.  B : )

Shadow Shot Sunday

This is not a "fancy" picture, but there is something about it that I just love:
Just pretend the garage is finished.  We suffer from the shoemaker's children syndrome around here : )   If you would like to see more shadow shots, and perhaps participate with your own, please click on the Shadow Shot Sunday button to the right.  Peace.  B : )

Camera Critters - Poor Ricky!

When we were in the midst of that long cold spell, the lizards had to come in - first to the garage, then to the house.  We had to borrow Ricky's big house from the master bedroom, to house the lizards.  When they went back out to the garage we put them in a giant wire kennel.  When they had their little spat (see bloody lizards here) we had to put Bobber in Ricky's big house and leave Zimmie in the kennel, but just until their daddy finished their new home and then they went in there real quickly.

We call it Ricky's big house because Ricky also has a small house in the computer room - not that he's spoiled or anything, he just likes to go into houses I guess.  So we moved Ricky's little house to the place where his big house belongs.  And this is what happened:
He DOES fit in the little house.  I can only guess that he went to run in and realized it was a lot shorter and stopped, and just stayed there.

So that's my shaggy dog story and I'm stickin' to it.  If you want to see more critters, please click on the Camera Critter button to the right.  Peace.  B : )

Color Carnival - please do not use

This picture is so perfect for Color Carnival; however, it did present a problem.  This was taken at a local arts/crafts festival.  The gentleman in the tent asked what I was going to do with it.  I explained it to him.  He said we don't normally allow pictures.  I said I respect that when I see a sign - I don't see a sign.  He said "well, she forgot to put it up".  I said, oh well.  So here is the picture and please don't use it or copy it or whatever it is that upset that man : )  I would certainly be happy for people to enjoy my arts/crafts enough to take pictures of them and, after all, imitation is the purest form of admiration or however that goes.  But I guess he didn't feel the same way.  So after all that to-do, here it is:

P.S.  I didn't blog yesterday - missed two memes - does that make me a bad person?  Hahahahah!   Peace.  B : )
