Tenacious - some things will grow anywhere:
Giant tree - tiny leaf, real tiny like a fingernail, trying to start a new branch - it should learn from the banks.
A very tiny succulent growing right out of a rock.
These used to be my windchimes, hanging vertically like they should; now the vines have claimed them and put them horizontally like they wanted them. Who am I to argue with nature - I left them that way. Hey, if I can't hear them, I can look at them - either way I'm amused.
And totally (forgot) - which is what I did yesterday. Yesterday was the great Jeffie's eleventh birthday!!!! And thank God he's still with us and still healthy and active. Here he is with his new sister's stuffed hotdog, which subsequently disappeared completely - we can't find it anywhere!

tremendous tenacity
Awwwwww! Jeffie is gorgeous! I love those old white-faced hounds! Mine is only five (nearly six) so his face is still fawn, but it's only a matter of time, as I know too well.
