COLOR CARNIVAL:
Can't remember if I posted this before - if you've seen it, don't look : )
This is a little butterfly collection I did for my sister who is refurbishing her daughter's 30-year old doll house. It is VERY small.
CAMERA CRITTERS:
Sibling Nicety - Hard to see from this angle, but CiCi is eating under Joy
and here is Ricky, standing on his hind legs, resting his forepaws on Jeffie, while Jeffie talks with Joy. Ahh, life is good when they all get along.
SIX WORD SATURDAY:
My motto, let go, let God.
SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY:
The lonely chair
WEEKEND REFLECTIONS:
I have closer shots of this scene, with the person in the hammock waving, but this one shows the reflections so nicely
AND NOW FOR THE WARNING - IF YOU ARE NOT A PET "OWNER" YOU DON'T HAVE TO READ THIS : )
I learned something yesterday that I did not know - no one I know knew - I worked at a vet's office for two years and did not know, but now I know. If you were told that your pets cannot get worms while they are on heartworm preventative - this is not true. Evidently there is not enough worm killing medicine (usually ivermectin) in the heartworm preventatives to keep your pet from catching whipworms. Keep an eye out for huge appetites for food and water, yet possible weight loss, and diarhhea that doesn't respond to the normal treatments. If you see the signs, have a fecal test done. It seems to be just the whipworms; roundworms and others are still taken care of by the heartworm meds. In the short time I was in our new vet's office yesterday, there were three of us in there for the same thing! Just thought you'd like to know.
Have a delightful weekend. Peace. B : )
