Mellow Yellow Monday AND Ruby Tuesday
These two memes are featured together because these two colors appear quite often together at our house. First is part of my bird collection:
and next is one branch from our peach tree - just how many peaches can one branch have? The poor tree is so overloaded, it's lying on the ground!

Have a wonderful Monday and Tuesday. See you soon. Peace. B : )

Color Carnival, Camera Critters, Six Word Saturday, Shadow Shot Sunday, Weekend Reflections
Holy Camoley, is it the weekend already? I have to go back to work; this busy retired life is killing me!
COLOR CARNIVAL:
And yes, I forgot to vote again, but the three winners this week are certainly more than deserving! That one with the thread makes me drool. Speaking of drooling, here's Mikey's cake for this year -
and it was sooooo good - gotta LOVE a Publix cake!
CAMERA CRITTERS:
Here I was trying to take some good pictures of the White Bird of Paradise. This is harder than you think because, for one thing, it's very tall, and the flowers are a translucent-irridescent sort of off white color, like those pretty paint jobs on expensive cars. Except for one petal on each flower which is a pastel shade of, ohhhh, probably periwinkle (check your Crayola box). All around the flowers, the plant is pretty nasty. Anyway, when I checked the pictures, there was a bird, in every shot. Can you find him/her in all of them?
Did you find them all?
SIX WORD SATURDAY:
God, please help the oily wildlife.
SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY:
Eeek - is it a monster? Is it an upside down giant bunny?
WEEKEND REFLECTIONS:
Here is Joy, reflecting on the relections in the pool..reflecting on whether or not she will ever get in it...reflecting on when her Daddy might be not too busy to finish it..reflecting on how her Mommy thinks it is a blessing, finished or not : )

ABC Wednesday - B is for....
Since I am B, the letter B has much meaning for me - there's B, and bees, and birds, and babies, and booger butts (what I call the dogs), there's best friends, and the beauty everywhere I look, and oh so many things that start with B, but today I chose BEAR:
These huge bears were in the lobby at the Ritz Carlton in Sarasota during the Christmas season, when the Queen Mum and I went there for tea. That second one looks like he's reaching out to pull that lady down on his lap!
If you would like to share your "Bs" and see more, please click on the ABC Wednesday button to your right. Thanks. May your day be warm and fuzzy. Peace. B : )

Fertilizer Friday - Some things survived the freeze
Some things survived our recent prolonged freeze here in SW Florida. I noticed that most of them were the native plants - another reason to go native in your gardens. These are wild olives and I'm sure they made it so they could continue to feed the birds.
Looking at this, it occurs to me that they look very large, but they're really quite tiny. See the "flora soup" picture below and you'll see them in the real scale of things:
See them? That's them right in the middle. Cute huh? If you'd like to share your fabulous flora, or see some from other folks, please click on the Fertilizer button to the right. Have a wonderful day. Peace. B : )
