ABC Wednesday - G is for girls - Girling Girls

Here we are in all our glory - The Girling Girls, sort of.  This picture was taken on Easter in 1950, in (I think) Pennsauken, New Jersey.  I am the short fat one. I would have been almost four years old.  I started life very fat - 11 pounds 1 ounce - lost it all later and spent most of my life skinny - and then I got old and found what I had lost.  I also did not stay short - I believe the order is reversed now and the eldest sister is the shortest and the youngest is the tallest. They all, including my mother and grandmother, wore size four shoes and rings - mine were much larger. They used to make me take the smallest tree to climb because I was the youngest; unfortunately, I was also the tallest, and my tree always bent to the ground.  If you were to read my very first post you would see why things are different for me, not that it is all that interesting, or even that it matters, but just in case you're curious.  If you are also curious to see more ABC Wednesday submittals, please click on the button to the right.  Peace.  B : ), just B, you'll see why if you read that old post : )
