These card/money holders are so nice - the pictures do not do them justice. I know because my children were given some of these with generous gifts inside :)
When I see "Money Holder" cards, they remind me of my grandma.
She, bless her heart, was the ultimate bargain shopper. At her house we had Christmas Candy for Easter, and Easter candy in the summer, because she would only buy after the holiday when things were marked way down.
Well, one year, she got a bargain on a whole bunch of money holder cards. So for the next few years, we got money cards for our birthdays. No money, mind you, just a nice note tucked in where the money would have been.
We felt cheated then, but I still have one of them. It lasted a lot longer than the money would have, and it's worth more to me now than all the money in the world.
Very cute money holders. Love the story above from Troy. I think we had the same grandmother. I have a lot of the same wonderful memories.
Those are so cute. I need to remember this for birthdays. What a great way to make giving money a little cuter.
Thanks for joining "Get your Craft on Thurs." I hope to see you next week.
