Mellow Yellow Monday

Happy Mellow Yellow Monday to you!  A brand new week - make it wonderful - for you AND someone else, if you can.

These pictures may be shocking if you suffer from arachnaphobia (sp?) but they're really quite beautiful.  I have never seen one of these - Victor says it's a banana spider.  It wasn't the spider so much that fascinated us, but the extra large zig zag in his(her) web.  If you know anything about this spider and/or the big zig zag, please leave your info in the comments.  Thanks!

To join in on the Mellow Yellow Monday fun, just click on the Mellow Yellow Monday button in my sidebar...over there to your right.  And tune in tomorrow - we'll have a guest appearance from Devo.  Peace.  B : )

How come you were so lucky to get such big spiders. I always find small ones, even when I went to Australia. Great job.

Growing up the old folks called them writing spiders. Old wives' tale was to never show them your teeth or they'd write your name in their web and something awful would happen.

Gotta love it!

Happy Mellow Yellow Monday!
