Happy June! and Happy Ruby Tuesday! This shot shows a tree that got a bit damaged in our cold spell, but is coming back nicely. I will get a closeup of the flowers one day - they're amazing! The color is so intense and so gorgeous, it cannot be described. I admit, it's not a pure red; there is some orange involved too, but it's red enough for today : )

Oh my! I haven't seen a poinciana tree since I lived in FL over 40 years ago!! They are indeed, unusual and quite lovely! Thanks, for just a minute there, I felt like I was home.
