Mellow Yellow Monday

A few short days after this shot, this gourd was gone, devoured from the inside out by some tiny boring insect.  So were his siblings. They were cute, all lined up in various stages of growth.  First the cold, now the bugs are killing our stuff.  We had to toss every single nectarine on our tree and there were tons of them and they looked good, till all juice started oozing out of them.  Oh well, they were fun while they were growing.  And the peaches!  Oh my, we had to liberate the tree of all her fruit because she was lying on the ground!  Many of them weren't near ready yet, but we thought we'd spare the tree for next year.

Have a great Monday, and a great week.  Peace.  B : )

I think this year we had plenty of bugs. I thought my peach will have plenty of fruits but all the tiny buds are gone. Had to spray it for next year harvest ^_^. Happy Monday!
