This is a picture (a very poor one) of a print I bought for my elder stepdaughter when she was carrying Lincoln.
Where is the green you ask? Well, first I recycled the frame from another picture. Then I recycled a piece of batik fabric and turned it into a mat. The picture itself is sitting on a newspaper that would be recycled the next day, and leaning against some recycled kitchen cabinets. This print came from an absolutely breathtaking shop on Venice Island called Sirene (pronounced Sir-en-ay) Coastal Interiors. I don't think they have a website, but their e-mail address is shellchic@comcast.net and the phone number is 941-488-3830. This is not a junk shop, but the prices are not unreasonable either. If you would like to know more about their shop and/or the art they sell, please get in touch with them. If you're local, do yourself a favor and go on in - it's like taking a quiet, relaxing vacation. I believe the picture was done by C. P. Wyatt, but I could be wrong. Lots and lots of the beautiful things in their shop are also recycled - shells, seaglass, rocks, crystals - things like that.
So you see, green can be found in many forms : ) If you would like to explore NaBloPoMo more, please click on their button to the right. Peace and mermaids to you. B : )
