Mellow Yellow Monday

Hi there.  Hope your weekend and Mothers' Day were fun and love filled.  Our friend Mikey had his 54th birthday dinner on Saturday.  One of his favorite things is hats, so when I saw this one, I didn't even ask how much it cost, I just had to have it for Mike:

It's a Tampa Bay cap with fake fur for the crown.  He seemed to like it!  When we got home from there, this was waiting for me on the kitchen counter:

As if the flowers weren't gorgeous enough, being my favorite color and all (and the bouquet being made by Leanna), the presentation was amazing, and the note was touching beyond words.  This is from my younger step-daughter.  A very wonderful Mellow Yellow for sure!

Sunday I made a full fledged turkey dinner for seven - pictures of that later.

If you'd like to join in or just look at more Mellow Yellow shots, please click on the button to the right.  Peace.  B : )

I would be honored if you would visit my new on-line store and see some of the cards I have been making. Feel free to purchase some if you would like : ) http://www.shophandmade.com/store/justb

Pretty flowers! Nice weekend. (Must be cooler where you live though -- a turkey dinner sounds way too hot for here in FL).

You are so thoughtful to think about Mike. He looks so happy with his new hat. My belated happy birthday greetings to him. And the beautiful yellow flowers and the card is so sweet! Happy Monday!
