Mellow Yellow Monday - May all your weeds be wildflowers

That time again - hurtling toward Thanksgiving, then Christmas, then the New Year.  When we were very young we used to wish away all of our time.  What were we thinking?  If only we could do like that George Carlin skit and come into life fully grown, relatively intelligent adults, and go out as little babies.  Wouldn't THAT make life different?  I suppose we would miss a lot though, like all that teenage angst and stuff : )

Push the button on the right and go over to the Mellow Yellow Monday site and spread some cheer and pick some up too.

The purple is porter weed, grows very tall and bushy, the yellow is wedelia, it's a spreading ground cover, and the third one is truly a weed, whose name I do not know.  These are all cohabiting nicely down in the far corner of the yards that we left as cover for the wildlife.  I saw it in action the other day - two squirrels being pursued by a giant greyhound and two furry terriers were able to hide in there and go up a pole and sit on the wire and say nah nah na na nah.  Have a wonderful week.  Be a blessing to someone.  Peace.  B : )

One person's weeds are another one's flowers! Methinks Carlin had a point ;-)

sweet yellow flower/weed :)

I am not going to fall into the end of year trap - at least that's what I keep telling myself ;)

Love your weeds! Because I was "blessed" with a lawn maintenance impaired husband God gave me a yard full of Indian Blanket wildflowers that grow everywhere! I'll have to give you some of my weed seed to scatter in your natural area! :-)

Extra lovely Mellow Yellow photos! I find that often the weeds have some of the nicest flowers!
